Vacancy • Founding Partner & CTO Full Stack • Remote
We are looking for a CTO
About the project
We are building a project with the potential to revolutionize the way people interact with each other.
And when we say "revolutionize," we're not exaggerating.
About the startup
We are experienced entrepreneurs in the process of structuring a technology project with the potential for significant impact on the Brazilian and international market.
We are in the pre-operational phase, designing the product strategy, business model and architecture that will support our vision.
Important
This is not a traditional corporate project - it is a genuine co-founding opportunity, where you will have a say in the most important decisions and participate in building something from its foundations.
Note: The project is not from Lodes Studio; We are using Lodes temporarily just to promote the new project.
Lastly: You need to have advanced English -- well, obviously haha. We will have constant contact with investors from abroad, and as CTO, you will also have to participate in meetings.
The Opportunity
We are looking for an exceptional full stack developer to take on the role of Founding Partner and CTO, responsible for the entire conception, architecture and development of our technological platform. You won't just be a technical executor - you'll be a co-founder with relevant equity stake, influencing strategic product, business and growth decisions.
This is an invitation to entrepreneur, to build real equity, to make decisions that matter.
Profile we are looking for
Technical excellence
- Proven experience in full stack development with real projects in production
- Mastery of modern front-end: React, Vue, Angular or similar (preferably React)
- Expertise in scalable back-end: Node.js, Python, Ruby, Java or similar
- Solid knowledge of databases: SQL and NoSQL (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis)
- Experience with RESTful APIs and/or GraphQL
- Familiarity with cloud computing: AWS, Google Cloud or Azure
- Understanding basic DevOps: CI/CD, Docker, monitoring
- Knowledge of software architecture: microservices, modular monoliths, event-driven
- Good practices: automated tests, code review, documentation, versioning
Entrepreneurial Mindset
- Owner's thought: After all, you will build a business
- Extreme resilience: ability to deal with uncertainty, pivots, obstacles and pressure
- Product vision: understands what technology exists to solve real problems
- Radical autonomy: ability to make complex decisions without supervision and create your own demand based on the roadmap.
- Continuous learning: willingness to master new technologies as needed
- Focus on execution: balances technical quality with speed of delivery
- Clear communication: able to translate technical complexity to non-technical people
Valued Experience
- Previous experience with startups or projects from scratch
- Knowledge of UX/UI and sensitivity to design (Pixel Perfect here is the basis of everything and we take it very seriously)
- Experience with agile methodologies in real environments
- Experience in technical leadership and team building
- Participation in technology communities or open-source projects
- Knowledge of growth hacking or product metrics
- Advanced English (for documentation consumption and future communication)
Personal Characteristics
- Long-term commitment: we are not looking for someone for 6 months. We want someone to practically be our close friend.
- Impeccable ethics: integrity in relationships and decisions
- Genuine collaboration: ability to work in real society
- Passion for building: you wake up thinking about how to solve problems
- Healthy ambition: wants to grow, scale, win - but in a sustainable way
- Intellectual humility: knows what he doesn't know and seeks help when necessary
- Like Entrepreneurship: Here we work 7x0
- Appreciates crazy ideas: The project itself is already somewhat exotic, and over time we will have more and more integrations into it. Being open-minded is the most essential part of our internal culture.

Yes, our entire team is Brazilian and lives in Brazil. However, you don't need to live in Brazil to be part of the project.
Currently, due to contractual reasons, you only need a CPF (Brazilian individual taxpayer registration number) or CNPJ (Brazilian company taxpayer registration number).
Do I need to quit my current job to apply?
No. The selection process can be done while you are employed. We only expect that, should we move forward with a partnership, you will have the appropriate dedication to the project.
What if the project fails?
Startups have a real risk of failure -- that's part of entrepreneurship. You will lose time and invested capital, but you will gain valuable learning and networking (especially with companies from abroad). It's important to be aware of this before getting involved.
Furthermore, large companies like Google prioritize candidates who have already been founders or had the courage to create something on their own.
Can I participate on a part-time basis initially?
It depends. For a company to function, there needs to be real commitment. We can discuss more flexible models temporarily, but the expectation is for increasing dedication.
CEO's comment:
For example, I spent 3 months getting ahead on the entire project design; some weeks I dedicated only 2 hours a day to the project, other weeks I dedicated 6 hours; the important thing was to meet the deadline.
Do you already have investors or funding?
Information regarding fundraising will be shared in conversations with qualified candidates. We are currently in the initial structuring and validation phase.
Why not reveal what the project is for the job posting?
For strategic reasons and to protect the idea in the initial phase, we will reveal everything to candidates who pass the initial screening and sign an NDA.
How old are the current founders?
We have founders with diverse backgrounds. What matters is commitment, complementarity, and cultural fit – not age.
However, our team is composed of Millennials and Gen-Z, just like our internal culture.
Can I work from anywhere?
Yes, the work is remote. However, depending on the location, there may be a need to coordinate some times for strategic meetings.
Contractually, it is important that you have either a CPF (Brazilian individual taxpayer registration number) or a CNPJ (Brazilian company taxpayer registration number).
